    We owned this house from 1979 to ~1989. This pic was taken when we lived there, b/c I planted those flower boxes with geranium cuttings I brought from Aspen, and I planted the tree in front.
    Lots of memories. Never could afford to water that scroungy lawn enough to keep it green, but I did make a garden on the balcony which was lush and verdant. The kids had tons of fun sliding down the hill and playing ball in the street.
    Hitching post in the back, park across the street.
    Bought it for 92k, sold it for 375k at the height of a real estate bubble. I think the values have gone up again, they always have, so far. I know all the houses in this area, the beautiful old massive stone churches, etc.
